Participants of First Cultural Forum of Turkic World visit historical sites of Shusha

The participants of the First Cultural Forum of the Turkic World, co-organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, TURKSOY and the International Turkic Academy, have familiarized themselves with the historical sites and fascinating nature of Azerbaijan’s city of Shusha.
The visitors first visited the Jidir Duzu plain, Molla Panah Vagif Mausoleum, the Mehmandarovs’ Estate Complex, Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, as well as viewed the exhibition dedicated to Mir Mohsun Navvab Garabaghi.
They were briefed about the Armenian atrocities committed against Azerbaijani cultural monuments, as well as the ongoing large-scale restoration works carried out in Shusha, with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation being closely involved in the reconstruction of the historical, religious and architectural monuments located in the city.
